1Using the service

By using K-PLAZA.COM Korean Learning (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by K-PLAZA.COM, operated by IT JAPAN Inc., for your personal, non-commercial learning, and is currently free to use.

2Our content

All text, lessons, quizzes, designs, illustrations and software in the Service belong to IT JAPAN Inc. or the rightful owners. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, scrape, resell or republish the content or the Service, or build a competing product from it, without our written permission. Quoting short passages with a link back to the page is fine.

3Your conduct

Do not misuse the Service. This includes trying to break or overload it, bypassing technical limits, using bots to collect content, or interfering with ads (including clicking ads repeatedly or asking others to click them).

Nicknames and rankings: choose a nickname that is not offensive, does not impersonate anyone and contains no personal information. Do not submit forged scores or use tools, scripts or modified apps to manipulate the rankings. To keep the rankings fair, we may hide, change or remove nicknames and scores, reset rankings and block submissions. Rankings are for fun and carry no prizes.

4Learning results and exams

K-PLAZA.COM Korean Learning can also be used to prepare for the TOPIK exam. Scores, levels and estimates in the Service are only a rough guide for practice and do not predict or guarantee the result of any official exam. For exam dates and registration, please check the official announcements.

5Third-party names and links

Names of companies, products, exams, artists, TV dramas, films and places appear only as vocabulary or examples, and belong to their respective owners. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

6Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the content accurate, but the Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or stop any feature at any time. Translations may contain errors; please report them to us. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, except where we have acted intentionally or with gross negligence. This does not affect any rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country or region of residence.

7Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IT JAPAN Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

8Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute between us and you arising out of these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office, as the court of first instance. However, if you are a consumer, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings before the courts permitted by the law of your country or region of residence, or the protection of the mandatory laws of that country or region.
